Our stay in the Athena Standard King Room was super comfy and spacious. The king-size bed was amazing. There was a cozy fireplace that made the room feel so inviting. The jetted tub was a real treat for relaxing after hiking. Mornings were great with fresh coffee on the balcony while taking in the views of the surrounding mountains. Everything was very clean, and the overall vibe felt luxurious and cozy.

Staying at Alma de Sedona was a mixed experience. The jacuzzi tub in my room was a definite highlight, providing a luxurious way to unwind after a day of hiking. I also appreciated having a balcony with a view of the labyrinth—it created such a peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast each morning exceeded my expectations. the variety was impressive, accommodating everyone’s dietary needs, including vegan and gluten-free options. The innkeeper was really attentive, providing local hiking recommendations. However, the room itself felt outdated. The carpet had noticeable stains, the furniture looked worn, and the lighting left much to be desired. I found it difficult to see after dark due to the low wattage bulbs. Also, the room lacked sufficient storage space, which made it awkward for my belongings. The internet connection was spotty at best, forcing me to rely on my personal hotspot. It was frustrating to have such issues during my stay.

The inn was perfect for our family of five teens and two little ones. We enjoyed the delicious breakfasts, especially the homemade blueberry brioche French toast! The views of Thunder Mountain from our room were breathtaking, making it the ideal spot after a long day of hiking nearby.
My kids wished there were more options for breakfast each day.

The breakfast every morning was outstanding it was fresh and always something different each time we ate. Lori, the innkeeper, gave us great tips about local hikes and made us feel right at home.
It wasn't exactly cheap but for what you get, pretty acceptable.
